

Since OpenCourser launched, we've made searchable courses from Khan Academy's Official SAT® Practice.

Now there's a new test prep option in town to up your SAT game, one made possible with the College Board's partnership with Khan Academy. Those who could afford private prep courses (starting at $1,000 for a multi-week session) could practically pay to get help with scoring higher.

Thanks for reading.For decades, studying for the SATs meant poring through thick paperbacks the size of phone books and/or slogging through practice tests and questions. Now more than ever, we want to help students make the most of their time online. I had the honor of working with a great team at both organizations on this research, including research leads Cassie Freeman at College Board and Kelli Hill at Khan Academy. Best practices can help guide students and ensure time spent on practice is productive. These findings hold true across student demographics including gender, race/ethnicity, and level of parental education.There are 8 full-length online practice exams available on OSP which can be taken in one sitting or over time. Taking a full-length practice test: Taking a full-length practice exam simulates the real test experience and helps students see what they do and don’t know.This best practice also helps students learn how to monitor their progress. Overall, leveling up provides a signal that students are consistently advancing in content tested on the SAT, and is a marker for learning progress on OSP.
